Description

The CURT 12170 is a Class 2 trailer hitch engineered specifically for the Mazda CX-5 with 2.0L, 2.5L, and 2.5L Turbo engines. Built from high-strength steel with robotic welding, it delivers a weight carrying capacity of 3,500 lbs. GTW and 350 lbs. tongue weight. The concealed main body provides an OE look and seamless vehicle integration. The 1-1/4" receiver tube accepts a standard ball mount shank or compatible accessories. Finished in a durable gloss black powder coat co-cured with a rust-resistant liquid A-coat, inside and out. Bolt-on installation requires no drilling, but does require temporary lowering of the exhaust. Tested to SAE J684 safety standards. Made in the USA (may include imported hardware). Installation hardware included.
