Description

The FOX Performance Series 2.5 Smooth Body IFP Rear Shock (ref. 987-24-028) is engineered for the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500. For non-Trail Boss/AT4 models, it accommodates 2.5 to 4 in of lift with a 2 in bump stop spacer required. For Trail Boss, AT4, and ZR2 models, it fits 0 to 2 in of lift. FOX's race-proven damping technology ensures superior on-road comfort and precise off-road handling. The 2.5 in 6061-T6 impact-extruded aluminum body provides lightweight durability and corrosion resistance. The 5/8 in hard chrome shaft and Internal Floating Piston (IFP) guarantee long-term reliability and consistent response. Travel: 10.06 in. Fully rebuildable and re-tunable.
