ICON 2.5 VS Aluminum Series shocks with piggyback reservoir are designed and built to give the Ford Ranger outstanding off-road performance and a smooth street ride. Configured specifically for each application in both length and damping tune, the 6061 billet aluminum manifold a few inches below the shock's top cap creates an internal Bump Zone that generates an additional 20% of damping force as the shock approaches full compression. This force prevents harsh bottom outs and controls the suspension when compressing at high velocity. Remote reservoir design improves heat dissipation to reduce shock fade during prolonged use. Upgradeable to CDCV valve. 7/8" induction hardened chrome plated shaft, CNC machined 6061 aluminum components. 100% rebuildable and revalveable. (See Application Section)
