The Pro Comp Pro Runner Monotube Shock Absorber (ref. PR2041) is designed specifically for Jeep Wrangler JK and JL models. The gas-charged monotube design delivers superior performance over traditional twin-tube hydraulic shocks. The brushed, zinc-plated, clear-coated shock body eliminates performance-robbing cavitation during compression and rebound, allowing more efficient heat dissipation and drastically reducing shock fade. Vehicle-specific ride tuning derived from extensive dyno and real-world testing results in multi-stage valving that optimizes ride quality and handling. An ideal choice for demanding off-road applications.
