The Rancho RS5000X shock absorber (RS55185) is engineered for the Ford Explorer, Explorer Sport, Explorer Sport Trac, and Mercury Mountaineer. It delivers improved on- and off-road handling and performance through exclusive Cross Tuned technology. The 35mm dual-tube body with nitrogen at 150 PSI reduces damping fade. The 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod resists corrosion for maximum durability. Fits Ford Explorer / Sport / Sport Trac and Mercury Mountaineer (see Application Section).
