aFe POWER – SCORCHER GT Power Module
Description
The aFe POWER SCORCHER GT Power Module is engineered for the BMW 550i, 750i, X5, and X6 equipped with the twin-turbocharged V8-4.4L N63 engine (Sensor 1 style). A simple 30-minute plug-and-play installation delivers dyno-verified gains of +40 horsepower and up to +60 lbs. x ft. of torque. This module alters pressure sensor signals to increase turbo boost and improve vehicle performance and throttle response. The LED light switch provides 4-power settings (Stock/Sport/Sport+/Race) adjustable in-cabin on-the-fly. Important: this module is compatible only with the Sensor 1 TMAP sensor style (early 2011 and before), identifiable by a smooth connector housing and a raised square located between the mounting bolt locations. The TMAP sensors are located on the intercooler bank on both sides of the engine. 100% of units tested.
