The Dynomax Super Turbo Muffler (part no. 17749) is the offset-in / offset-out variant of the 2.5 in. long-body Super Turbo lineup, offering the same large oval body dimensions as the 17748 (4.25 in. H × 9.75 in. W × 20 in. L, 25.5 in. overall) but with a single offset inlet — as opposed to the 17748’s center inlet. This configuration suits vehicles with a fully offset exhaust routing on both ends, such as the Chevrolet C1500. The exclusive patented flow director channels exhaust flow and eliminates turbulence, while large internal flow tubes improve exhaust gas flow and reduce backpressure. Fiberglass matting technology absorbs unwanted interior resonance while maintaining a mellow performance tone. Reversible design for maximum installation flexibility.
