Description

The AWE Tuning Cross Over Pipes (SKU 3010-11010) are designed for the Porsche 911 Carrera (997.2) equipped with H6 3.6L and 3.8L engines. Built for Porsche drivers looking to eliminate the rear muffler without accepting the slight power loss an X-Pipe creates, AWE Cross Over Pipes are designed to improve power, reduce weight, and wake up the tone of the car. With the OE rear center muffler, exhaust gas is forced into a tight radius u-turn before exiting from the same side, hurting exhaust flow and power. AWE 997.2 Cross Over Pipes completely eliminate the center rear muffler from the exhaust flow equation, providing the smoothest and straightest path possible. Gains of 5 horsepower and 5 lb-ft of torque at the crank, and a weight savings of 6.5 lbs over the OE center muffler. Crafted from T304L stainless steel, 2.5-inch tubing. Bolt-on installation with hardware included.
