Description

The aFe POWER 48-36316-YC Twisted Steel Long Tube Header/Mid Pipe 304 SS with Catalytic Converter is designed for the BMW M3 (E36) L6-3.2L S52 1996-1999. 3-to-1 mitered collectors decrease turbulence and increase exhaust velocity, resulting in increased horsepower, torque and improved throttle response. Tube lengths are optimized for true pulse control technology. 3/8" laser-cut head flanges are designed to match the head port for a leak-free seal. The mid-pipe is constructed of dual mandrel-bent 1.625" stainless steel tubing transitioning to a single 2" pipe to reduce back pressure and improve flow. Includes dual high-flow 400 CPSI 48-state legal catalytic converters. The system uses factory mounting locations and includes O2 extensions for hassle-free installation. Engineered and manufactured at the aFe facility in Corona, California.
