Description

The BORLA S-Type CrateMuffler #400831 is designed for the Small Block Ford High Output (289, 302 exc. Coyote 5.0L, 351 Windsor) and Big Block Ford Moderate Output (390, 427, 428, 460 FE Big Block V8). Unlike the #400828 (offset outlet), this model features a center outlet. Mufflers are directional — the outlet is identified by the mounting bracket welded to the endcap. The directional design delivers the classic S-Type sound and dramatically reduces or eliminates drone on cataloged applications. Add resonator 400938 to attain the Touring sound level. Dimensions: 2.5 in. offset inlet / center outlet, oval, 14 in. long body, 19 in. overall length. Built from T-304 stainless steel.
