Description

The BORLA S-Type CrateMuffler #400828 is the world's first muffler purpose-built to optimize the sound and power of crate and custom-built motors. Tuned for the Small Block Ford High Output (289, 302 exc. Coyote 5.0L, 351 Windsor) and Big Block Ford Moderate Output (390, 427, 428, 460 FE Big Block V8). Mufflers are directional — the outlet is identified by the mounting bracket welded to the endcap. The directional design delivers the classic S-Type sound and dramatically reduces or eliminates drone on specified applications. Add resonator 400938 to attain the Touring sound level. Dimensions: 2.5 in. offset inlet / offset outlet, oval, 14 in. long body, 19 in. overall length. Built from T-304 stainless steel.
