Description

The BD Diesel Positive Air Shutdown system (P/N 1036703) is designed for the Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty equipped with the V8 6.7L Turbo Diesel engine. This emergency engine shutdown system uses an inline butterfly valve installed in the air intake line. Activated by a heavy-duty electrical solenoid, the valve cuts off the air supply and shuts the engine down within seconds. Components are manufactured from aluminum and stainless steel with weatherproof connectors. No welding is required thanks to the innovative bead boot lock system. The kit includes the air shutoff valve, boots, wiring harness, electronic module, piping, clamps, and all necessary hardware.
