CURT engineers this trailer connector kit for vehicles that are not factory-equipped with towing wiring. Also called a T-connector, this custom wiring harness (part number 56505) plugs directly into the taillight assembly on the Kia Niro and Niro EV, with no cutting or splicing required. Two or more OEM-compatible connectors create a reliable electrical link between the vehicle and the trailer. The harness provides a universal 4-way flat connector socket, compatible with most towing accessories. It includes all necessary wiring components, a fuse holder, and a dust cover to keep the connector clean when not in use. Built with SMT circuitry for improved durability, the kit is equipped with a tail light converter for vehicle-trailer compatibility.
