Description

The Flowmaster FlowFX Extreme Cat Back Exhaust System (Part #717977) is designed for the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 equipped with the 5.3L engine (new body). Built from 409 stainless steel, it features a FlowFX series muffler for an aggressive to moderate sound level and increased performance. Mandrel bent 3.0-inch tubing maximizes exhaust flow and durability. The dump-style exit, positioned right after the muffler, eliminates the over-axle tailpipe and improves ground clearance and departure angle for off-road use. Maximum dyno gains of 15 HP and 20 LB/FT at the rear wheels. Bolt-on installation uses factory Hanger locations with all necessary hardware included.
