Description

The Magnaflow #16996 Competition Series cat-back system delivers an aggressive, attention-grabbing exhaust sound for the Ford Mustang V8 4.9L. Built from 100% corrosion-resistant stainless steel, this competition-oriented system produces aggressive exterior and moderate interior sound levels. The mandrel bent 3 in. main piping feeds into two polished round straight-through mufflers (4 in. x 14 in., Center/Center configuration), terminating in a dual split rear exit with four 3 in. x 3.5 in. polished single wall clamp-on round tips. This cat-back system replaces stock exhaust components from near the catalytic converter back. The bolt-on direct-fit design, developed through 3D scanning, allows for easy installation.
