Description

The Firestone Ride-Rite Coil-Rite® Air Helper Spring Kit (ref. 4147) is specifically designed for the Chevrolet Tahoe PPV/SSV 5.3L. It fits inside existing coil springs to create a variable spring rate. Installed at the rear, it levels the vehicle and improves stability, steering, and braking effectiveness, even under heavy loads. Air pressure is easily adjustable for varying loads and road conditions. Made of durable, elastic polyurethane, the springs support 500–1,000 lbs. per set (not to exceed vehicle GVWR). Temperature range: -40°F to 180°F. Kit includes springs, supports, hardware, air line, and inflation valves. Bolt-on installation, no drilling required.
