Description

The Rugged Ridge Modular XHD Snorkel Kit (Ref. 17756.21) is designed for the Jeep Wrangler JK 3.6L. It relocates the stock air intake to reduce the risk of engine hydro-locking during water crossings and dust-clogged filters on trails. Includes a pre-filter low mount (below the windshield) and a high-mount ram design that extends the intake an additional 21 in. to the top of the windshield — both easily interchangeable. Built-in manual drain valves channel away excess water. Made from thermoformed plastic, mandrel bent aluminum, and hi-temp silicone hoses. Requires minor fender modification only; compatible with folding windshield, removed doors, and windshield light bars. Patents D687,071 and D687,072.
