K&N – AirCharger Performance Air Intake System

Description

The K&N AirCharger 63-5506 air intake system is designed for Mitsubishi Lancer equipped with L4 2.0L and 2.4L engines with manual transmission. This system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing to deliver guaranteed power and torque gains. Dyno-tested, it produces an estimated gain of 5.41 HP at 5216 RPM. The kit uses a non-metallic rotational molded tube made from high-strength materials such as silicone and reinforced nylon, reducing intake air temperature and lowering noise. The included K&N air filter is washable and reusable (replacement filter: RU-5147). Installation is straightforward and typically completed in 90 minutes or less. Note: this system is not CARB exempt (off-road use). Manual transmission required.
