K&N – FIPK Performance Air Intake System

Description

The K&N FIPK 57-1529 performance air intake system is designed for the Dodge Ram 1500 equipped with the V8 4.7L engine. This system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing, virtually eliminating air restriction to deliver a guaranteed power gain. Dyno-tested, it produces an estimated gain of 8.63 HP at 4688 RPM. The kit uses a non-metallic high-density polyethylene (HDPE) rotational molded tube with an integrated heat shield, reducing intake air temperature and lowering noise. The included K&N air filter is washable and reusable (replacement filter: RF-1040). Installation is straightforward and typically completed in 90 minutes or less.
