K&N – Typhoon Performance Air Intake System

Description

The K&N Typhoon 69-3531TS cold air intake system is designed for the Ford Explorer, Explorer Sport, Flex, and Taurus SHO equipped with the V6 3.5L Turbo engine. This mandrel-bent aluminum tube system with silver finish replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing, delivering a guaranteed power gain. Dyno-tested, it delivers an estimated gain of 12.12 HP at 5327 RPM. The system comes with an oversized K&N high-flow conical air filter that increases surface area and dust capacity. The included filter is washable and reusable (replacement filter: RF-1048). This system is CARB exempt.
