Description

The Injen SP3000WB Wrinkle Black SP Aluminum Short Ram Air Intake System is designed for the Volkswagen Golf GTI MK8 equipped with the L4 2.0L Turbo engine. This short ram intake features a 3.500" mandrel-bent 6061-T6 aluminum tube providing a smooth, uninterrupted airflow path. Incorporates Injen's patented MegaRam (MR) Technology to maximize power output while maintaining safe air/fuel ratios. Includes a custom application-specific heat shield. Fully serviceable SuperNano-Web dry air filter with replacement part X-1079-BB. Optional Hydroshield p/n 1121BLK. No additional tuning required. Dyno-proven gains of +12 hp and +22 lb-ft of torque — exceptional torque output for this displacement. Not CARB exempt; not available in California. Protected by the Injen Limited Lifetime Warranty.
