The Injen SP3040P is a Polished short ram intake system engineered for the Volkswagen Passat equipped with the L5 2.5L engine. Made in Pomona, California USA, from mandrel-bent 6061-T6 aluminum tubing, this system delivers dyno-proven gains of +7 hp and +7 lb-ft of torque. Smooth intake piping eliminates restrictions and improves airflow. The fully serviceable SuperNano-Web dry air filter (ref. X-1017-BB) provides superior filtration. Optional hydroshields (1035BLK or 1035RED) are available. No heat shield included. Bolt-on installation with no additional tuning required. The polished finish adds premium underhood aesthetics.
