Description

The AIRAID MXP Air Intake System represents the ultimate in AIRAID cold air induction systems, delivering superior horsepower and acceleration gains for high-performance gas and diesel vehicles. This system starts with a replacement one-piece roto-molded air box that addresses the shortcomings of the restrictive factory design. Housed inside is an AIRAID premium non-woven synthetic air filter for outstanding airflow and filtration. Air is directed through a new intake tube constructed of cross-linked high-density polyethylene, designed using extensive computer modeling to maintain proper mass air flow readings and calibration. Many MXP systems feature a built-in velocity stack that further promotes airflow. This simple-to-install yet extremely sophisticated system increases airflow while maintaining proper air-to-fuel ratios, eliminating the need for recalibration. Designed for the Ford Explorer equipped with the L4 2.3L Turbo, V6 3.5L or V6 3.5L Turbo engines. The mass air flow sensor is included. The filter is washable and reusable.
