Description

The AIRAID Cold Air Dam (CAD) 401-272 Performance Air Intake is engineered to give your Ford F-150 engine larger amounts of cooler air to produce more horsepower and torque. The system retains the original air filter location but delivers a significant boost with a huge open-element air inlet protected by Cold Air Dam panels. These panels act as a heat shield, isolating intake air from engine bay heat and sealing under the hood via blade-style weather stripping. The 360-degree conical non-woven synthetic filter is washable and reusable, requires no oil, and provides superior filtration. The system utilizes a replacement low-restriction polyethylene intake tube. Installation is easy with common hand tools. Compatible with multiple V6 and V8 engine options. CARB EO D-609-18 certified and street legal for on-road use.
