AEM – Short Ram Air Intake

Description

The AEM 22-489P Performance Short Ram Air Intake System is specifically designed for the turbocharged Mazda MX-5 Miata Mazdaspeed. It replaces the restrictive factory air filter with a system designed, tuned and dyno-tested for this model. Air enters through an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter, protected by a heat shield to preserve horsepower gains by shielding against hot engine air. The mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube features a durable polished finish. A high-flow AEM charge pipe is included to boost turbo gains. Compatible with factory emissions control devices including the mass airflow sensor and engine breather hoses. The oil-free Dryflow filter (21-202D-HK) lasts up to 100,000 miles before cleaning.
