The aFe Power Takeda Stage-2 Cold Air Intake System for the turbocharged Subaru WRX uses a large 5-inch tall conical Pro DRY S 360-degree radial flow air filter with 5 layers of progressively finer mesh cotton media, requiring no oil. A high-quality ABS plastic heat shield blocks unwanted engine heat and eliminates heat soak. The CAD-designed roto-molded cross-linked polyethylene intake scoop captures the coolest available air. The one-piece 3-inch mandrel-bent wrinkle-black powder-coated intake tube directs unrestricted airflow to the turbo for increased horsepower and torque. No cutting or drilling on OEM parts is required for this direct bolt-on installation.
