Description

The Mishimoto cold air intake system (MMAI-STI-15WRD) is engineered specifically for the Subaru WRX STi H4 2.5L Turbo. This complete kit replaces the restrictive stock airbox and includes a mandrel-bent wrinkle red powder-coated aluminum pipe, a CNC-machined MAF housing with integrated air straightener, a silicone coupler, clamps, a rubber cap for the sound symposer housing, and all necessary hardware. The filter is positioned outside the hot engine bay to reduce intake air temperatures (IATs), and a powder-coated heat shield prevents heat-soak. Dyno-proven gains of up to 20 whp and 18 wtq are achievable on the stock tune. The included oiled Mishimoto filter offers 16% greater surface area, is fully serviceable, and reusable.
