Description

The Mishimoto cold air intake system (MMAI-RS-16WBK) is engineered specifically for the Ford Focus RS L4 2.3L Turbo. This complete kit replaces every core component of the OEM system, including the airbox and a 3-inch aluminum intake pipe routed all the way to the turbo with all necessary bracketry for a perfect fit. The airbox features an open-top design similar to the factory unit, exposing the filter to more air while sealing against the hood. The system uses the factory air inlet ducts to capture air from the front of the car, with weather-stripping around all ports to prevent movement. Dyno-proven maximum gains of 12 whp and 15 wtq are achieved on a stock tune with no additional tuning required. No cutting or modification to factory components needed.
