The Banks Power Ram-Air® Intake System (P/N 42172) is designed for Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD/3500HD and GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD trucks equipped with the 6.6L Duramax LMM Diesel engine. These systems are tested and proven: each starts as a CAD prototype through flow simulations, validated on a flowbench, then tested on-vehicle. Banks density-tests the Ram-Air against stock and many competitors. Thanks to its enclosed cold-air housing, huge inlet, giant dome-shaped filter, and streamlined design, the Ram-Air Intake maximizes cool, dense airflow for more power and fuel economy.
