Description

The AEM #21-499C Cold Air Intake System is designed for the Nissan Altima equipped with the V6 3.5L engine (See Application Section). It replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing to increase horsepower and torque. Air enters through an oversized tapered cylinder-shaped AEM DryFlow synthetic washable air filter that is oil-free and reusable, delivering outstanding airflow, filtration and performance. The filter is located in the original air box space and is protected by a heat shield with a replacement fresh air inlet designed to reduce intake air temperature and maximize power. The mandrel-bent aluminum intake tubing with durable gunmetal gray powder coated finish ensures optimal airflow. The system accommodates factory emissions control devices including the mass air flow sensor and PCV resonator. The DryFlow filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed depending on driving conditions. New. Sold and shipped by Truck Expert.
