Description

The AEM #21-485B Cold Air Intake System is designed to replace the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing on the Mazda RX-8 1.3L (See Application Section). This system features an oversized cone-shaped AEM DryFlow synthetic washable air filter that is oil-free and reusable, delivering outstanding airflow, filtration and performance. The filter is positioned above the passenger side wheel well to reduce intake air temperature and maximize horsepower. The mandrel-bent aluminum intake tubing with durable blue powder coated finish ensures optimal airflow through gradually expanding inlet pipes. The system accommodates factory emissions control devices including the mass air flow sensor and breather hoses. The DryFlow filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed depending on driving conditions. New. Sold and shipped by Truck Expert.
