The aFe Power Takeda Stage-2 Cold Air Intake System for the turbocharged Subaru WRX features a large pre-oiled 5-inch tall conical Pro 5R 360-degree radial flow air filter with 5 layers of progressively finer mesh cotton media. A high-quality ABS plastic heat shield blocks unwanted engine heat and eliminates heat soak. The CAD-designed roto-molded intake scoop captures the coolest available air. The one-piece 3-inch mandrel-bent wrinkle-black powder-coated intake tube directs unrestricted airflow to the turbo for increased horsepower and torque. No cutting or drilling on OEM parts is required for this direct bolt-on installation.
