Description

The Dinan High Flow Engine Cold Air Intake (D760-0046) is the latest generation designed for BMW's 6-cylinder B58 engine. It improves upon the factory design through a larger airbox and filter element, improving throttle response and reducing turbocharger strain for maximum efficiency. The carbon fiber intake tube incorporates baffling and a small Helmholtz chamber to eliminate flow disruptions and allow the natural sound of an unimpeded intake tract to sing. The sealed system ensures maximum cold outside air utilization, delivering gains of +15 HP at 6000 RPM and +13 lbs.-ft. of torque. Material quality has been improved over previous generations.
