Description

The Banks Power Ram-Air® Intake System (P/N 42135) is designed for Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD and GMC Sierra 2500 HD trucks equipped with the 6.6L Duramax LLY Diesel engine. Ram-Air houses a giant filter in an enclosed cold-air box, which inhales cool, dense outside air – up to 57% more than stock – for more power and mileage, lower EGTs, and less smoke. Each system starts as a CAD prototype run through flow simulations, validated on a flowbench and on-vehicle. Banks Ram-Air is the only aftermarket intake with bellows to accommodate engine movement and prevent damage. Designed to not cause fault codes. Includes a window to check filter condition.
